Greetings Crying Suns fans!
We have just released a massive new update titled “Advanced Tactics” bringing the game to a whole new level of space combat strategies.
WHAT’S NEW?
The “Advanced Tactics” update is a free extension that includes a wide series of new battle features and other support abilities :
New weapons, new squadrons, new auxiliary systems for battleships and brand new officers abilities.
Unlockable battleships are now equipped with a unique and specific technological modifier, requiring players to adapt their strategies depending on battleships’ strengths and weaknesses.
Players will also find additional neutral units on the battlefield that each opponent can “capture” to gain territorial advantage.
New AI enemy behaviors have been added, requiring players to carefully adapt and vary their tactical response.
Finally, players will find a new type of POI (points of interest) where they will be able to upgrade their squadrons: The “OMNI Forge”.
We also worked with our localization team to add a new language: Japanese!

Hello fellow space explorers!
Big news! We will finally release the mobile version of our game Crying Suns on the 25th of June!
During the last few months, we carefully redesigned the whole experience not only for iPads, but also for iPhones and high-end Android devices, including a revamped interface and intuitive touchscreen interactions.
This version will include English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Simplified Chinese & Japanese languages, and, of course, all the future updates and DLC.
For the backers who chose this version, you will receive a key to download it on your iPad and your iPhone on the release day (and a pretty cool surprise 🤫).

Crying Suns digital artbook is finally available and has been sent to our backers!
If you chose the “Digital Art Package” (or above) during the campaign, check your mailbox! You should have received an email from Backerkit containing the link to download it.
If you missed the Kickstarter campaign, you can still pre-order the physical artbook (limited edition) or even purchase one of the digital versions here on our Backerkit boutique.
The physical version should be sent shortly after the end of the Covid-19 problems, production and delivery services being stopped during the outbreak. In the meantime, stay safe!
